Bio
Srivatsan Jayaraman Sridharan received his bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, India and master’s degree in Mining Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India in 2013. His doctoral research focused on the pressure losses in mine ventilation systems and he worked on number of mine ventilation consultancy projects for the mining companies SAIL and MOIL during this period. He is currently working in Mining Engineering department at South Dakota Mines (SDSMT) as Research scientist. His research is primarily focused on Mine Health and Safety, and solving the mine ventilation problems using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling.
