Bio
Judith Buaba is a research assistant and Ph.D. candidate in Mining Engineering at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Her research is concentrated on integrating safety and health hazards associated with mining into the scheduling process to minimize exposure in underground mines. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Mining Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology in Tarkwa, Ghana. Following her work experience of over a year in both underground and open-pit mining, she enrolled in Montana Technological University for her Master's Degree in Mining Engineering.
