Bio
Alex is a professional registered engineer with experience in underground mine ventilation and refrigeration systems for both deep and shallow underground mines including tunneling (Road & Trains, Hydro electric projects, Nuclear storage design, etc.) works and shaft sinking operations. Alex is an expert in underground mine ventilation design including heat loads with cooling fluids systems design and interactions with the ambient environment. Alex was involved over the years with various deepmine research initiatives for ultra deep mines. Alex lecture as a seasonal professor at the University of Toronto. He teaches the subject Ventilation and Refrigeration to undergraduate and graduate students. He has collectively 37 years of ventilation and refrigeration experience within the mining and industrial industry. This experience can be divided between various mining systems such as Gold, Coal, Platinum, Diamonds, Base Metals, Potash, Uranium, etc.
