Salami holds a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering with first-class honors and a Master's graduate certificate in Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering. He is currently a doctoral researcher in the Department of Mining and Explosives Engineering at the Missouri University of Science and technology USA. His doctoral research focuses on quantifying fire risk and developing novel evacuation techniques using agent-based models in Underground Mines.
