Bio
Paul Schmiesing has over 25 years working in the mining industry. Paul graduated as a Mining Engineer from Va Tech. Paul Schmiesing worked for 13 years for commercial explosives manufacturers and suppliers all out west as a blaster, technical service rep (CA, OR, WA, NV, UT, CO, NM AZ, ID, MT, AK, BC), and managed site distribution for Moab, UT and subsequently Western Washington. Paul has spent the last 11 years in Nevada working at Leeville, Midas, Hollister, Vista, and Turquoise Ridge UG gold mines in both operations and engineering roles. Currently Paul is the Lead Underground Long Term Planning engineer for all Nevada Gold Mines undergrounds (TRUG, GRUG, CHUG, Leeville, Portal Mines) and QP for mining.
