Evaluation of the respective project/mine Basis of Design (BoD), giving particular consideration to the ventilation impact resulting from the use of BEVs in place of diesel-powered equipment,Potential changes in mine ventilation demand, ventilation system layout, and required infrastructure,Response to battery-related emergencies (e.g., battery fires) and general health and safety considerations, andPerforming a SWOT analysis of the transition from diesel-powered equipment to BEVs from a ventilation perspective.
