  • Fan applications – Auxiliary Ventilation (Face Fans): Ducting applications - Coal Mine, Hardrock, Large opening (Stone, Salt, etc.); Flow and pressure calculations
  • Fan applications – Main Ventilation: Surface vs. Underground - Layout options, Fan Chamber considerations; Booster Fans
  • Fan System considerations: Fan system losses, Impact of blade wear, Fans in series, Fans in parallel, Speed control with VFD
