Bio
Dr Ming Qiao is a Mining Engineer and Research Fellow at the School of Civil, Mining, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, University of Wollongong, Australia. He got his bachelor’s degree at China University of Mining Science and Technology in 2016, and his doctor’s degree at the University of Wollongong (2023). His research area lies in coal mine gas management, mine dust mitigation, and spontaneous combustion control, with a particular focus on computational modelling. During his PhD study, he engaged in three Australian Coal Industry’s Research Program (ACARP) projects and seven industrial projects. He has published eleven SCI papers and four conference papers.
